The goal of this in-depth review is not to identify a “best all around” solution given those tend to under deliver in all performance aspects. This focuses on where the platforms excel, so IP leaders can understand which solution best aligns with their organization’s priorities. Solve Intelligence: AI full cycle automation
Solve Intelligence focuses on patent workflow process optimization. It supports attorney-controlled drafting, prior art review, office-action responses as well as evidence-backed mappings for infringement, invalidity, standard essential patent (SEP), and freedom to operate (FTO) through its Charts module.

“We found Solve Intelligence to improve efficiency across patent drafting and prosecution by generating strong first-pass outputs. For specification drafting, it captures much of the invention disclosure, but do not expect autopilot. We still had to manually review documents to ensure accuracy and completeness as well as conduct some iteration for the AI to meet drafting standards. For prosecution, it produces technically sound strategies and response drafts, but any nuanced arguments also required expert human review.
Regarding patent monetization and litigation, the platform’s extensive standards repository makes it notably accurate and effective in standards-driven areas such as telecommunications SEPs and audio/video codecs.
Its template library streamlines analyses of all kinds. The standardized outputs mean simpler prompts for the AI to function well – less hassle for the user – and can be customized to adjust the scope of insights based on need. Patlytics is an end-to-end patent platform that covers invention disclosure, drafting, infringement analysis, claim charting, and portfolio management. The AI-assisted platform prioritizes reducing manual effort throughout prosecution and enforcement workflows.

For our team, the AI-guided function for claim drafting, identification of unclaimed matter, and office action response was satisfactory, but it was the specification drafting feature that stood out as especially helpful.
For patent monetization and portfolio analysis, the platform’s detection report and heat map work well for identifying the top 10-15% of patent assets. We noticed the platform holds an acceptable degree of technical accuracy in high-tech domains like Software, Storage, and Robotics, even when conducting triage of large data sets for monetization assessments.
We felt the invalidity search and SEP analysis modules are weak points for the platform. During our tests they proved to be technically nascent, most likely because it lacks a comprehensive standards documentation repository.”
LexisNexis PatentSight+: Strategic portfolio intelligence specialist

The natural language interface felt intuitive, making it easy to extract strategic insights from complex patent data and simplify data-driven decision-making. However, PatentSight+ required more upfront effort to customize and train the AI model to align with our user-defined standards and analytical needs. While the platform supports patent landscape analysis, competitive benchmarking, technology due diligence, portfolio assessment, whitespace analysis, and patent search, its capabilities remain largely centered on analytics. Beyond analysis, the platform offered limited support, leaving our team wanting more intelligence and optimization features for drafting, prosecution, and monetization workflows.”

In our testing, the Eureka Hiro AI Assistant was easy to use. It handled a broad range of IP analyses through natural language prompts with acceptable accuracy.
The technology landscaping and competitive benchmarking capabilities were especially strong, providing insights that closely reflect the current state and trajectory of targeted technology areas.
The platform also performed well in FTO, validity, and evidence-of-use (EOU) analyses, delivering results that were sufficiently thorough and reliable to support both enforcement and defensive strategies. Review methodology
To conduct this assessment, the UnitedLex IP Team ran multiple test cases and scenarios on the AI tools, including but not limited to patent drafting, office action responses, illustrations, landscape and competitive benchmarking, patent portfolio assessment with less than 100 patents, portfolio assessment with more than1,500 patents, infringement analysis, target scouting, patent-product mapping, and SEP analysis. Several iterations of each platform’s test scenario were conducted to ensure the AI models can be trained and that the best output could be retrieved for the assessment.
The team used patents across multiple technologies, such as data storage, audio/video processing, database, semiconductor, automotive, cloud, and virtualization, to understand the technical accuracy of the platform.
Subject matter experts supervised and reviewed the AI outputs to assess them on technical accuracy, ease of use, efficiency gain, and scalability.
