Dr. Idir Laurent Khiar is Data Protection Officer and AI Officer for the Baltic Cluster of Geopost SA (La Poste Groupe), overseeing data protection and AI governance across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Previously, he served as Co-Head of Data Protection and DPO at Raiffeisen Group Switzerland, and held senior positions at SwissLegal and PwC Legal Switzerland. He has advised companies, investors, and public authorities on data protection, cybersecurity, and technology law. Dr. Khiar holds master’s degrees in political science and law & technology, an LL.M. in cybercrime and cybersecurity, and a PhD in EU regulatory politics.

Kaan Gürer is a partner in Linklaters’ Antitrust & Foreign Investment Group in Düsseldorf. He advises across all areas of antitrust law, with a focus on cartel and abuse of dominance proceedings, dawn raids, internal investigations, compliance, damages actions, merger control, FDI and FSR. He has extensive experience in complex matters before the German Federal Cartel Office and the European Commission.
