Renee Meisel Named a Finalist for WIPL Award in Collaborative Leadership

Published:

UnitedLex, a tech-enabled legal and professional services company, is pleased to announce that CEO Renee Meisel has been named a finalist for the Women, Influence and Power in Law (WIPL) In-House Internal Collaborative Leadership Award.

The awards honor in-house and law firm women leaders and allies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law. The winner will be announced at the WIPL awards dinner in Chicago on April 14.

Meisel was recognized for the unflagging spirit of collaboration and dedication to others that has guided her career, including her experience in Dell Technologies’ legal department and her work as general counsel and now CEO at UnitedLex. She is a strong believer in developing collaborative environments that allow for trust and honest conversations, which are critical for both personal and professional success.

Collaboration also means acknowledging that it takes many different perspectives and an open mind to come up with the best solutions. “True leadership is not defined by possessing all the correct answers but by the ability to identify the right resources and perspectives to inform decisions,” said Meisel. “My goal as a leader has always been to promote a culture of collaboration and innovation, allowing diverse expertise to thrive. So it is a true honor to be recognized as a finalist for this award.”
