Beverly Rich leads artificial intelligence strategy and product innovation at UnitedLex, advising legal departments and law firms on how to deploy and scale AI across complex legal and business environments. She helps organizations realize measurable business value from enterprise-scale AI by aligning data architecture, governance frameworks, and operating models.
Beverly works with clients and internal product teams to design and implement AI-enabled legal workflows and develop next-generation legal technology solutions that improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making. She has extensive experience translating emerging AI capabilities into practical applications for legal strategy, operations, and service delivery.
Before joining UnitedLex, Beverly served as Innovation Counsel at a multinational labor and employment law firm. She holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from USC Marshall School of Business and was previously an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the University of Utah, where she published research on the economics of innovation. Prior to academia, she practiced law in Los Angeles.
Beverly holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a B.A. from Yale University. She also serves as an adjunct professor at USC Gould, where she teaches on artificial intelligence and the future of legal services.
