Nancy Jessen has been a leader in legal services consultancy for nearly 30 years, guiding law firms and legal departments on strategic and operational transformation. She works closely with general counsel across the United States to hone their vision and highlight how the departments they lead contribute to the company’s success. Nancy challenges and trains GCs to model business-thinking processes that set a new expectation and tone for their departments. As a legal consultant for major organizations such as Huron Consulting, Arthur Andersen, and Altman Weil, Nancy propelled the legal industry and her clients beyond previous limitations. Nancy’s consulting experience is complemented by her extensive technical background working as the manager of information systems for a high-tech law firm and for a software company that designed and implemented financial systems for law firms.

She frequently speaks at industry events on new operating model design, value articulation, transformative technology implementation, and adopting high-impact corporate change. Nancy earned her BS in management information systems from Iowa State University.
