About Our Brand Ambassador Program
UnitedLex’s brand ambassador program supports innovators who disrupt the status quo and challenge traditional perceptions. Our ambassadors embody strength and versatility, represent diversity and inclusion, and make bold and meaningful contributions to their respective fields and communities.
Transformation Needs a Champion
Our first global brand ambassador, Kayla Harrison, is a true champion for change. Kayla embodies our core brand values — integrity, excellence, collaboration, vision, and ambition. And, like UnitedLex, Kayla is tenacious in pursuit of her goals, and eager to flip convention on its head.
Kayla made history at the 2012 Olympics in London when she became the first American to win a gold medal in the history of the sport of judo, and she successfully defended her gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Her victories imprint another step in a career characterized by success at the sport’s highest levels. After winning gold twice on the world’s largest stage, Kayla is now a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete who competes with the Professional Fighters League.
Born in Middletown, Ohio, Kayla has succeeded through a combination of talent, heart, courage, and hard work. She started taking judo lessons at age six and had won two national championships by age 15. Kayla is also a survivor of sexual abuse, a subject she wrote about in her book, Fighting Back. She created the Fearless Foundation to educate survivors and to empower them with the strength to come forward and seek help.
Kayla’s story has captivated audiences everywhere and has been featured by Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, USA Today, Time Magazine, The Today Show, CNN, and MSNBC, among many others. Kayla was awarded the 2012 OC Tanner Inspiration Award and The Women’s Sports Foundation’s Wilma Rudolph Courage Award. She was named one of Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year for 2012, Boston Globe Magazine’s Bostonian of the Year, and the Boston Sportswriter’s Association Athlete of the Year.
I approach my life the same way UnitedLex approaches business: Be unconventional and be disruptive, but support those around you. UnitedLex’s relentlessly innovative response to challenges in the business world aligns perfectly with the way I respond to challenges in my own life.
Transformation is a force of nature
Rob is Founder of TRIBE, a natural sports nutrition company, running community, and charity that fights human trafficking. As an entrepreneur who has built a company which has changed thousands of lives, Rob shares UnitedLex’s way of doing things: pioneering, hungry for change, and always working to inspire people to be their best.
In 2013, with two friends, Rob organised Run for Love, running 1000 miles in 30 days across Eastern Europe to raise funds for child trafficking survivors. 250 runners joined for stages of the journey, and thousands more have since joined the Run for Love movement, raising over £500,000 to fight modern slavery. In 2018 the UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, awarded Rob, Tom & Guy the Points of Light Award for their work fighting human trafficking.
Born in London, and studying at Bristol University, Rob qualified as a lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills in 2013. He started to run to try to get fit while working in law. Running ended up changing his life. After running the Marathon des Sables in 2012, then Run for Love, he left law to start TRIBE in 2015. Rob’s story has been featured on CNN, Guardian, the BBC, ITV news among others. Rob and the TRIBE community are excited to partner with UnitedLex to continue the work to fight human trafficking.
We set up TRIBE to lead a revolution in how people use nutrition and to build and inspire a community to fight a great injustice, modern slavery. UnitedLex is a dream partner for us: a team that's a true force of nature, leading its own revolution in the legal sector, committed to changing how things are done for the better.
