A former lawyer, Edward Gill has spent more than 20 years driving change across the legal industry. Edward works with legal and contracting teams from leading international corporations and law firms to help solve their challenges, helping them transform complex day-to-day contracting and managing projects.
Edward has worked for two of the largest global law firms, Clifford Chance and Freshfields. He developed managed services, including the first law firm captive at Clifford Chance, innovating new ways to deliver legal services, and running the first UK law firm outsourced managed service for Freshfields. For the past eight years, Edward has built and delivered legal managed services teams for leading corporations, including BT, Vodafone, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs, as well as developed strategic partnerships with leading law firms and technology companies.
Edward is qualified as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand. He earned his law degree and BA in philosophy and ancient history from the University of Auckland.
