David is a former digital consultancy founder and CEO, who operates as a multifaceted executive across marketing, customer experience, strategy, product innovation and transformation. He is performance driven and has architected and been accountable for many large-scale business transformations and acquisitions across industry leading companies.
As EVP, Chief Experience and Marketing Officer at UnitedLex, he leads all functions within the experience organization including commercial, product/solutions and marketing for both internal and external stakeholders. His broad scope in marketing includes demand generation, sales development, global brand, creative, events, operations, product and solution.
Previously, as PwC’s Digital Strategy & Innovation Leader, he led the Go-To-Market, demand generation, brand, strategy, experience and marketing functions for the firm's products and services. He was PwC's first Global Chief Experience Officer and grew the Experience Centers to 42 locations with 4000+ strategists, creatives, and technologists. He has built and led multiple business units, including PwC Digital, and PwC Digital Products. He also established BXT™ Works, PwC's global new way of working that combines business expertise, a human-centered approach to thinking, and technological know-how to create a competitive advantage.
In 1997, he founded BGT, which grew to be the largest U.S. independent digital agency. BGT was acquired by PwC in 2013, becoming PwC Digital, a top 3 global digital consultancy. As a culture and experience leader, he is proud of PwC/BGT's Top 15 ranking in AdAge’s “Best Place to Work” from 2010 through 2019. Always the creative, he started his career as an architectural designer and designed 20+ progressive environments including many of the PwC offices.
David enjoys investing in start-ups, building teams, diving into the trenches, dreaming about what’s next and helping get new ideas off the ground. David has been on multiple boards and is a former YPO Chairman. He enjoys giving sharing his wisdom and experiences through keynotes and articles in various outlets such as Forbes, WSJ, NYT, Bloomberg, Mashable and AdAge.
