Foreign Language Processing

LexDiscovery™, UnitedLex’s proprietary eDiscovery processing engine, provides identification for up to 55 different languages. This automated process includes identification of the exact amount of each language contained in any given document or data set. Unicode encoded data is analyzed for the most common full text search expressions (Boolean, wildcard, proximity, etc.) across English, Asian, Western European, and Eastern European languages. 

Document Review – Foreign Language

Foreign language document review often requires more than objective and subjective judgment of applicable search terms since the meaning of foreign language text does not always convert to the same meaning in English. In turn, proficiency in both native origin language and the targeted language is needed while adding a review layer which is investigatory in nature. Our processing technology, review platform, and project teams – comprised of both native language speakers and U.S. licensed attorneys - are integrated to provide a comprehensive and single-source foreign language discovery solution.

LexTranslate™

UnitedLex provides a broad range of translation fulfillment across legal and technical disciplines. LexTranslate™ combines technology and certified language professionals to support international litigation and arbitration, intellectual property, patents, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and other important legal documents. For both complex and routine translation, localization must be incorporated into the translation process to ensure that language meaning is properly modified and assimilated to the targeted language. UnitedLex’s Localization process properly converts the native language source to a targeted foreign language by considering language meaning, cultural relevance, and industry specific terminology. Our process results in a cost effective translation solution that is highly qualitative, predictably accurate, and standardized.
